Crappie are spawning and biting hard!
The crappie are hanging out in the shallows this week about 4-8 ft deep. They are loving the minnows right now early in the season. Check in the out coves along the shoreline for some frisky fish.
Largemouth Bass have begun to wake up!
Our largemouth bass can be found in the deeper portions of Glenn Springs Lake. If you are looking for a fight, our bass will definitely up for the challenge. Currently preferring Nightcrawlers, minnows, and soft plastic worms, they is fun to be had on these critters!
Catfish
Blue cats are biting off the T-Pier. It is very early in the season for catfish, with only 2-3 being caught in the 4-5 lb range. Chicken liver and nightcrawlers are their preferred.

WOW what a week, Crappie are spawning and man are they biting, Crappie are in the shallows at least 4-5ft deep, minnows are still the preferred choice.
Large Mouth Bass
Big Bass are biting!!! This week the largest Bass was 8lb 24in long caught on a spinner bait in the shallows. The young man that caught the fish said " I cast into the moss and the water exploded".
Catfish
They are still out here folks. We measured a 6.5lb 23 in channel cat just this week caught on rooster liver. These catfish definitely have a taste for chicken liver.
